2010 Interns

Four River City High School students were honored on January 14, 2010 for their summer work at the University of California, Davis.  Jaden Adler, Atish Kumar, Didier M Ponte, and Rodrigo Gaitan received certificates and stipends for their work in the UCD DARPA-AFOSR 2010 Summer Apprenticeship Program.  These students from Mr. Fagout’s Robotics class joined the condensed matter group at UC Davis, using a C/C++ interpreter to write computer simulations to calculate the properties of solids.  They also performed experiments using artificial lattices made from laser beams.
